Hello peeps!

 

Yet again I am sooooo sorry for my lack of presence.

No sooner had I returned from Majorca, I was off to Milan on a work trip (hard life!)

I have had very little time to discover bargains lately but I am now getting myself back on track.

Yesterday as the weather was good I decided to visit my local car boot sale. I am really keen on this one as it isn’t too big and I usually find some real bargains.

Today I’ll show you everything I bought then I’ll go through them individually.

 

 

So as you can see here, I got 2 pairs of flats, a pair of boots, two bags, boot toppers, cosmetics bag, shirt, shorts, jumper and a hat! In this pile we've got names such as Antler, New Look, Topshop, F&F and many more!

Have a guess how much this little bundle set me back....… £12, I know, I can hardly believe it myself.

Lady in Red!

I hope you are all well and enjoying this AMAZING weather!

I am now back from my romantic Majorcan break, fully refreshed and rejuvenated.

Since I haven’t long been back I thought I’d share with you a bargain that I bought the day before we went on holiday.

This gorgeous red lattice neck skater dress was from New Look and set me back just £9.99!! I love it when I find a bargain like this. The dress comes in various colours and can be dressed up or down, it really is perfect for this weather.

 

 

 

I am catching up on all the blogging I’ve missed whilst Ive been away and I hope I haven’t been gone too long to lose you……. I am back on the bargain trail as I type!

Colourful Cover-up!

Happy Tuesday!

Today it’s my best friend in the whole world’s Birthday – Have a good one Amanda!!

Another bargain from my recent Metro Centre trip is this fab summer vest/cover-up. Like the stars and stripes shorts from a previous post, this also came from Republic.

Also like the shorts, this Tri-colour top is by Soul Cal and I just adore the colours and the boho-beach vibe. The design of the top is simple but pretty and it set me back just £5, not bad considering it’s usually £18 and is still selling on other websites for this price!

 

 

 

Can’t wait to rock this little number..... any ideas on ways to wear this other than thrown over my bikini??

Work is going to be pretty hectic for the next few days so I’ll apologise in advance for my absence, but will be back soon with more amazing bargain buys!

Amazing Aztec!

On a whim, I decided I wanted some soft, light shorts to take on holiday to throw over my bikini. I didn’t want to pay a lot for them so decided to pop into Primark at the Metro Centre.

 These gorgeous bright Aztec print of these shorts caught my eye immediately and they are super lightweight too. The £3 price tag on these shorts is pretty amazing too! They are one of the few things from Primark you can find that look and feel a lot more expensive than they actually were.

 

 

So that was my bottom half sorted, now I needed a top half cover-up, preferably with shorts sleeves to protect my shoulders from the mid-day sun. Also in Primark, I noticed these cropped ‘boyfriend’ style t-shirts. The bright yellow one I picked out looks fab with the shorts and set me back just £3 as well!

 

 

 

I walked in expecting to find nothing and got exactly what I wanted for an amazing price – how often does that happen?

I have a blue vest top from George at Asda which looks fab with these shorts and my gladiator sandals too, and immediately dresses the look up too! Summer casual at its best.......

Star Struck!

It’s almost the weekend, I just can’t wait to kick back and relax with a glass or two of wine.

As promised I have another thrifty find to report for you today.

I think these are possibly my favourite buy for a long time……..

Those of you who know me will be aware of my obsession with all things starry (I’ve even got the tattoo to prove it) add that to my obsession with gorgeous shoes and you will understand whay I am so excited over this buy.

I picked up these beauties in Deichmann in the Metro Centre. I knew I had to have them before I even checked out the price tag, I was too busy trying them on at first to notice the fact they had been reduced from £39.99 to just £9.99 which doubled my happiness when I did eventually realise!

 

I am soooo in love with these heels, not only are they gorgeous but they are comfy and will go with just about anything J

 

How gorgeous are these shoes????? I’ll be back tomorrow with another steal of a buy!

Stars and Stripes

Finally, I am back in the world of bargains once again!!

Last night be and my BFF headed off to the Metro Centre for a bit of much needed, post work retail therapy.

My holidays will soon be here (eeeek!) so that was the main focus of the trip. I got sooooo many fab bargains, I just can’t wait to tell you all about them!

The only downside was we only had three hours L Still I did pretty well in that time!

The first amazing bargain I want to tell you about is these amazing stars and stripes denim shorts. I got these in Republic, who are currently having a ‘closing down’ sale. I am not sure if they are closing forever or just for a re-fit which I hope is the case. Many items were less than half price and I got these SoulCal shorts for a fabulous £10!! They were originally £30 so even less than half price.

 

 

Can’t wait to wear these on holiday with my new crop tops J

Sexy Skater

Good morning and happy Wednesday! Welcome to the peak of the week!
I hope you are all well and have been enjoying the glorious sunshine?

 Yesterday I popped out to grab some lunch and couldn't resist a quick look into Select to see if they had any holiday bargains.

I spotted this hot pink skater a couple of weeks ago but didn’t buy it. Yesterday it was reduced to £4!! So of course I had to have it.

 

I bought a black sequinned bandeau top from select in the sale at the end of last summer with the intention of keeping it till this summer and I think it will be perfect in Majorca with this hot pink skater?

 

 

I can also wear it with my black crop top which will also be snuggled in my suitcase!

Not long to go now – Just can’t wait!

Tropical Times!

Heyyyyyyyyy!!

I have to start my blog again today with another apology, I have been a really bad blogger of bargains recently.

There have been a few things going on which have really diverted my attention (apart from sitting in the sun drinking fizzy – I promise!)

I did however manage to nab a fabulous bargain at the weekend which I really wanted to tell you about.

I don’t often post photos of myself on here but as the girls took a few snaps of me wearing my new bargain on Saturday I thought I’d share!

 

I got these gorgeous trousers from Peacocks in the sale for just £5!! I couldn’t believe it, I had been looking at a similar pair the week before priced at £35!

I was instantly attracted to the bright summery print and the material is so soft too! I wasn’t sure if I could pull this style off but after a quick trip to the changing room I thought they looked ok.

In the photos I am wearing them with a black vest from Primark and sandals from River Island. The cuff was from a charity shop J

Back to bargain hunting!

Hellloo!!!!! Firstly my humble apologies for being away so long!

I have been away competing in the Jim Clark International rally so no time for bargain shopping :0 but we did have an AMAZING time. Just about come down from the adrenaline buzz now!

 

On my lunch break today I noticed a pair of shorts I’ve had my eye on for some time from ASOS are now in the sale (don't you just love it when that happens BEFORE you've bought them!)

 

The have been reduced from £38.00 to £26.50 so of course I had to snap a pair up for my forthcoming Majorca break! In fact the sun is shining in the UK at the moment so I may even get to wear them at home.

I love the colouring in these shorts and the fringing makes them that little bit different.

Half Price shoes you say??

Hello everyone,

Are you all ready for the THREE DAY WEEKEND? I know I am!

I have lots planned for this weekend, lots to squeeze in. I hope I find have time to find some bargains along the way!

I am treating Phil to a surprise birthday meal and drinks tomorrow night and still haven’t decided what to wear-eek! Really need to get on it! (Good excuse for a sneaky look round the shops tomorrow!)

So, I was thinking last night that I would like to treat myself to a new pair of wedges for my forthcoming holiday. I was delighted to find an email from my friends at stylistpick this morning, offering me 50% of all full priced shoes until Monday!
Even better they offer FREE delivery and returns – doesn’t get much better for a shoe-a-holic!!

After much deliberation I have decided to go for the Dayna ankle strap raffia wedge in blue (also available in pink) the wedge is currently selling on the website for £38.00 meaning I get them for just £19.00!!

 

I love these wedges and they will go perfectly with all of my holiday outfits. Can’t wait for them to be delivered!!

There are so many gorgeous pairs to choose from it was really hard. It was just as hard to ignore the little voice in mt head telling me to buy two pairs!

Cotton Shirt-dress

Happy Tuesday.
The bank holiday weekend is fast approaching!

Apologies for my lack of posts over the past few days, things have been pretty manic!

Today it’s time to share with you my 3^rd and final Salvation Army bargain from last week.
It comes in the form of this Gorgeous Khaki cotton summer shirt-dress.

It was originally from Bay Trading and doesn’t look like it’s been worn at all. The material is so soft and light, perfect for summer days and the belt which come with it is lovely too.

This little beauty only set me back £3.50!! I am still hoping for some sun to wear it!

 

We are going out for Phil’s birthday this weekend and trying to decide on my outfit so it’s not a last minute rush – any suggestions?

Floaty Friday

Hello my favourite followers! It’s very nearly the WEEKEND :)
Very Excited!!

It’s time to tell you about my 2^nd bargain from my local Salvation Army Charity shop.
I’ve been on the hunt for a summer maxi skirt for a while but didn’t find one I really liked….. until now!

This gorgeous coral number originally from New Look had my interest as soon as I saw it, even though it’s a little big, it has an elasticated drawstring waist so I can draw it in. Plus at the amazing price of £1.00 I just couldn’t leave it on the shelf!

I think this bright colour will look fab with my black crop top, some statement jewellery and flat sandals (as well as many other outfits)

It’s been an amazing few weeks for bargains, long may it continue J

Salvation Army Barmy!!!

Hello!! Happy Thursday!

Hope you are all well and on the countdown for the weekend?

I visited my local Salvation Army charity shop again recently and got some bargains that are almost too good to be true!!
The first one I want to tell you about is this gorgeous sequinned blazer from Next.

Last winter I looked everywhere for one of these to wear over my party dresses. I ended up buying a sliver one from eBay. As soon as I set my eyes on this one I wanted it. I hadn't really noticed it was Next Signature until after I got it home, just saw the £3 price tag and snapped it up!!

I was amazed when I got home to see it was Next Signature and was brand new with the tags!
The tags say €96 so at todays exchange rate that would be just over £80!!!!!!

I am so pleased with my bargain I can't stop grinning! Although I will mainly wear this for the party season I may also team it with my skinny jeans and a glam T on nights out :)

Bikini Blues

Hello! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend?
I did but as usual, it flew by in a blur or shopping, family time, housework and cocktails!

On Saturday I visited a charity shop I’d never been into before. I spotted St Vincents in Wrekenton quite by mistake and of course I just had to have a browse!

Just as I thought I was leaving empty handed I spotted a basket of swimwear by the door and saw this gorgeous New Look Bikini poking out.

It was brand new with the tags on and I snapped it up for just £1.75!!
I probably wouldn't have chosen this print/design if I was paying full price so not only was it a real steal, its also made me try something new :)

 

 

 

 
 

So that’s my holiday bikinis all sorted now, I am over the moon with my find!

I am so pleased it’s the weekend! I have been thinking about my holidays a lot recently.

I received an email from ASOS this morning so I decided to have a little browse (even though I am not meant to be spending!)

I was really rather restrained and only purchased one item! This gorgeous crop top for just £6.00!!

I am so excited for its arrival. I will try and keep this one until I go away, I think it will be fab with my denim shorts.

TU Tuesday!

Hello Lovelies!

Hope you all had a fabulous bank holiday weekend.

Apologies for my lack of posting over the last few days, the weather was so good I just had to make the most of it!

Last night I popped into my local Sainsbury’s for some shopping and thought I’d have a quick look around the clothes while I was there.

They had two big sale rails with up to 70% off, so of course that’s where I went. There wasn’t much left in my size and just as I was about to give up I spotted the gorgeous material of this dress poking out.

I looked at the tag and it said size 6 petite so being 5’6 I was very doubtful it would fit. I popped into the changing room and to my surprise it fitted perfectly. I love the print and cut of this dress and the material is so light and comfy, it even came complete with a belt.  The best part about this dress? The price! Reduced to just £5! Definitely bargain of the week.

The colours and print of this dress are quite retro, can’t wait to wear it (although it’s raining now – think the 3 days of sun were our summer-hope not!)

AX PARIS LOVE!

It’s Friday!! And a 3 day weekend –woop!!
I hope you are all well?

We booked our Summer holidays yesterday, I am SUPER excited! I have decided to treat myself to some new dresses from AX Paris to take with me.

As you know I love a massively thrifty bargain but as AX Paris is one of my favourite brands when it comes to dresses, I don’t mind treating myself every  now and then. I always find the dresses fit me perfectly and are very good quality as well as being reasonably priced.

I have been browsing the website and have picked out some of my favourites. I plan to buy two pieces and I will be taking advantage of the Free UK delivery on orders over £50!

Work it!!!!!!!!

Welcome to Wednesday!
As I mentioned previously, it’s been a great week for bargains.

Today I want to tell you about another fab bargain from Select. This time it’s a work wear bargain.

I love the tailored/cigarette style trousers but they are usually too short for my legs or the fit is wrong. When I was in Select last week this pair stood out to me, I decided to try them on and to my surprise, they fit perfectly.

They fall exactly to my ankles and fit so well everywhere else, I love the gold zip detailing too, it makes the trousers that little bit more funky. These trousers were an unbelievable bargain at just £8!!

 

I buy the majority of my work wear from Next and will team these trousers with my gorgeous printed jacket,  sleeveless shirt and colour block court shoes which are all from Next.
